The highlighter provides a simple 1-CLICK functionality that allows your users to post highlighted links to your website on their Social Networks (Facebook, Bebo, MySpace, Hi5 etc.), individual blogs, popular instant messengers (Skype, Yahoo, AOL etc.), as well as all Social Bookmarking sites (such as delicious, digg, furl etc.)
This exposure provides an opportunity for other users that may not even have heard of your site to come back to your site. Even more so because, someone found the content on your site to be worthy of highlighting and sharing! Peer to peer reccomendations are invaluable.

Upon clicking the button:
1. User’s mouse cursor changes to a highlighter.
2. User can now point his mouse anywhere in the article, “Click and Drag” and s/he will instantly see the highlights in-situ.
The user can then forward the article on to his/her contacts with the relevant portions highlighted. The recipients will see the entire article in their email program, with the highlights intact. This initiates pointed discussions amongst this group of people, driving more of them back to the publisher’s website, and to this particular article.
